He died on 10 November 1786 at age 84 in Raynham, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He was buried at King Cemetery in Raynham, Massachusetts.
"He was a Captain of militia, which was an office of no small note at that day, and it was usual for a commisssioned officer to wear his regimental suit on public days after the English fashion. He was the first representative to the General Court from Raynham. He was a proprietor of the "Taunton Company Lands," as they were called. He had been at a meeting of this company, when 84 years of age and returing on the Steep Hill road in the woods late in the evening, it being dark, got lost and perished. 1900 Census lists her as being born in September 1898.

In the 1920 Census she was living with her mother, who was housekeeper for the family of Sydney A. Wells at 450 Elmwood Avenue in Providence, corner of Roger Williams Ave.

In the 1935 RI Census on 1 Jan 1936, she is listed as a widow living at 19 Hawthorne Street.

In the 1940 Census, the family -- Eva, Margaret, and Sidney, Jr. were living on Hawthorne Street in Providence. Sidney was a clerk in a novelty manufacturing company.

Did she marry (2) Thomas H. Horton 23 Jul 1950 in Maine? Did they live in Providence?

In the 1925 RI Census, they were living at 203 Lexington Avenue, Providence. Lodema Kells was living with them. They had a son, Sidney A., Jr., 4, and the two step daughters, Margaret and Harriet.

They were living in the 6th Ward, Providence, at the time of the 1930 Census. He was an investment dealer. In the 1932 City Directory, his office was at 76 Westminster, rm. 518. He was also president of General Plastering Co., Inc., 29 Weybosset Street, rm. 48. He and Eva lived at 203 Lexington Avenue, Providence. He committed suicide with a handgun. He is buried in Pocasset Cemetery in Cranston.

Mickel, born abt. 1805, a farmer in Chatham, NY (land worth $6,000 in 1850 Census) and had children Mary b. 1831, William, b. 1834, Catharine, b. 1836, Philip, b. 1838, Isaac, b. 1840, Simeon, b. 1842, and Louisa, b. 1844. His grandfather was Simeon A Mickel and his great grandmother was Charity Rivenburgh (Reifenberg). Simeon had brothers Isaac A., Philip A., and William A. and a sister, Catherine who m. Redmond.

In the 1917 draft registration for World War I, h e was living at 325 Edwards in El Paso, TX. He was a gas fitter with the El Paso Gas Co.

He was living with his brother, Harold, in Washington, Lucas Co., OH, in 1920 Census. In the 1930 Census, the family was living in Toledo, OH. Brother Harold, then 37, was living with them. He was a plumber by occupation.

He was a plumber at his home-owned company, D-J Corporation, at 2109 Dundee Street, Toledo, OH. He retired in Florida around 1968, residing at 707 Starlite Lane, Port Charlotte, FL. After his wife died, he moved to Los Angeles, CA, to live with his son, Melvin.

Paul and his wife, Letha, are buried in Charlotte Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, Charlotte County, FLorida

He is listed in the Social Security death index -- 292-050-7338, issued in OH before 1951. Paul Mickel Kells had person sources.1 He served in the military on 8 June 1918 in Bexar, Bexar, Texas.

Joseph Howland, Jr., was born on 9 March 1793 in Poultney, Rutland County, Vermont.1 He and Jerusha Dewey were married on 14 December 1814 in Richmond, Berkshire County MA.2 He died on 9 March 1864 at age 71 in New Lenox, Massachusetts.3 He was buried in New Lenox Cemetery, North Lenox, Massachusetts.
He sold his land near the furnace in Lenox in 1804 and moved to Pittsfield. Doublecheck birthdate: September 22 or March 9?

In an article in the Berkshire Whig of 10-12-1843, the oxen team of Joseph Howland won the first premium of $7 in a contest of ploughmen.

In the 1850 Census, he was listed as 57, Jerusha also 57, with a farm worth $3500 and a child, George L., 17, and Harriet, 46, living with them.

He died suddenly at age 70, according to the Berkshire Courier.
