William Solomon Kells was born on 16 August 1863 in Hudson, Columbia County, New York. He and
Sarah ("Sadie") Van Vechten were married on 12 January 1888 in Williamsburg, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.
1 He died on 5 May 1915 at age 51 at Forest Cemetery in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio. He was buried. Arrangements by Matheis Undertakers, same as for his mother.
He was an insurance clerk at the time he got married, living in Pittsfield, MA. He and Sadie were married in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Williamsburg, MA. Marriage is recorded in Pittsfield town records, Vol 388, page 65 (image now available on line). In the 1900 Census he is boarding with his father in a hotel or large home in Pittsfield. There is no mention of Sally -- are they divorced or did she die? He was a member of Crescent Lodge of the Masons in Pittsfield from 1891 to 1896.
Berkshire Genealogist Quarterly, Vol 12 #3 pg. 86 has the voting list for 1900, listing him as having been born in Hudson, NY, living at 13 Francis Street, working as a clerk at 9 Bank Row.
The City Directory of 1904 for Pittsfield lists him as removing to Ohio and his father to Providence.
The Pittsfield Evening Sun lists him and his sister as living in Detroit, Michigan, at the time of his father's death in 1909.
He was apparently living in Toledo, Lucas Co., OH, from about 1902 to sometime after 1913. His sister, Maud, was married and living there, as was his cousin, Harold H. Kells. He's listed as boarding at 702 Jefferson in Toledo in 1906, working in a rubber factor, in 1908 as an enameler, and 2601 Scottsdale in 1911 as a bartender. By 1913, he was living at 3047 Monroe and working as a bartender. His cousin, Harold, was also living on Monroe.
In the 1900 Census, he was boarding with his father at 112 West Street, Pittsfield, in what appears to be a hotel or large rooming house. He is listed as married, as is his father.
He was a member of MA Grand Lodge of Masons, Crescent Chapter, 1891-96 (and maybe later).

1 She was from Williamsburg. Did they marry 12 Jun or 12 Jan or 30 Jan? They were married in Williamsburg by Rev. H. A. Jones. What happened to the marriage? There's no further record of Sadie. In the 1900 Census, William is living with his father in the US Hotel -- no wife, no child.

1 He was the owner and manager of a machine shop. He was of German or Dutch descent -- both parents from Germany in 1910 Census, from Holland and NY in the 1920 Census. In the 1920 Census, he was President of a manufacturing company. He was an inventor of safes.

Simeon B. Mickle was born in 1842 in New York. He died in 1912 at age ~70. He was buried at Cemetery of the Evergreens in New Lebanon, New York.
In the 1860 Census, he was listed as a farm laborer.
The family was living in Chatham, Columbia Co., NY, in 1880 Census (FHL Film 1254820, National Archives Film T9-0820, page 99A). Living with them was Kate U. Mickle, listed as "other," 7 months old, born in NY. All of the children were born in New York.
The 1880 Census also listed a Simeon Mickle, born 1807 (73) in NY, wife Catharine Mickle, born 1814 (66) in NY, and son Sylvester, born 1838 (42) in NY. Parents of Simeon? There is also a Philip Mickle, born 1803 (77) in NY, his wife Mary A., born 1830 (50) in Ireland, and son Joseph, born 1853 (27) in NY. Philip may be a brother of Simeon, Sr. There are also a William Mickle, born 1834 (46) in NY, with family and John I. Mickle, born 1846 (34) in NY, who may be brothers of Simeon, Jr.

1 A Maria Rider, no husband, born 1807 (73), was listed as living in Chatham in the 1880 Census, as were a number of other Riders. She was living with Isaac and Charlotte Pitts (Charlotte a daughter?). A Thomas B. Rider, age 56, born in NY, had a wife, Lucretia L., born 1830 (50) in NY, and children M. Helena (22), Thomas B. (18), Edward (14), and Jennie (9). Probably some of the other Riders were sons of Maria.
The key images from the 1850 Census are missing. There are a large number of Riders in the Chatham part of Columbia County. There is a Maria Rider living in Onondaga County in the 1850 Census.
A Luticia (Lucretia?) S. Rider married George Tice, Jr. May 8, 1841, at the Dutch Reformed Church, Shawangunk, NY. Relative?
A Maria married John H. Rider aft. 1865. Parents? Rider family came from Mansfield, CT. There is a Rider family genealogy.

Anna Margaretha Schneider were married on 2 February 1699 in Hoerdt, Pfalz, Germany. He died in 1720 at age ~46.
Johan Jacob Eswein was also known as Joannes Jacob Oehswein. The roots of Jacob Eschwein were at 6729 Hoerdt (18 km. s. of Speyer, churchbooks being 1695, Cath.). Hans Jacob Oeswein (also spelled Oehswein) of Hoerdt married Anna Margaretha Schneider February 2, 1699, daughter of Nicolaus Shneider of Ruelsheim; the witnesses to the marriage were Thomas Liebel and Joh. Jacobus Eswein, attorney. Jacob Eschwein, aged 41, his wife, a son aged 5, and daughters 7 and 1 were aomong the 4th arrivals in England (London Lists).
Jacob Eswein made his first appearance on the Hunters Lists 1 July 1710 with 3 persons over 10 yrs. of age and 3 under. He was naturalized January 31, 1715-16 (Albany Naturalizations). Jacob Eschweing with his wife and children were at Hundrston ca. 1716/17. He is listed in records at Livingston Manor in 1718. (Simmendinger Register. Jacob Eswein was a Palatine Debtor in 1718, 1721, and 1726 (Livisngston Debt Lists. Jacob Eschwyn, widower at Claverack, married at Claverack Maria Herder, widow, November 17, 1720, at Queensberry (NY City Lutheran Churchbook). Jacob had 8 children by his first wife, including Anna Mararetha, baptized July 15, 1703. She married 1st Peter Schneider and 2nd Henrich Ells or Kells. (pp. 216-217).
