Biography

Samuel Leonard, 3rd, was born on 4 March 1768 in Raynham, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 He and Polly Andrews were married on 13 January 1811 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Intentions on this date.
ECL has a note that he perhaps married Patty Drew April 12, 1812. He also says that Samuel has a son. Taunton VR's list the Samuel who married Patty Drew as Samuel 4th. This Samuel who married Polly Andrews was also known as Samuel Leonard3rd

The 1790 Census lists the Samuel Leonard, Jr. household as consisting of 4 people, 1 male over 16, 1 male under 16, and 2 females. So the listing is missing two children. But then, which Samuel Leonard, if there were 4 in Taunton? Samuel Leonard, 3rd, had person sources.2
