Nathaniel was a mariner. He and Eleanor were married by the Rev. James Searing. There is no stone on Nathaniel's grave in the Arnold Cemetery.

James Weeden was born before 30 July 1585 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. He and Phillipa Cox (Cocke) were married on 11 September 1615 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England. He died before 17 December 1673 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island.

They came on the ship "Martin" in the summer of 1638 (Anderson, The Great Migration Directory, p363). James was accompanied by his wife and John, William, Anna, and Martha. In 1648 they were living in Newport and by 1651 Portsmouth. James Weeden had person sources.¹
