Biography

Henry Leonard was born in 1797 in Raynham, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He died on 16 December 1815 at age ~18 in Lee, Massachusetts.
Lee MA epitaphs show "In memory of Henry Leonard, son of Mr. Elijah Leonard and Hannah Leonard, died December 16, 1815, aged 18 years." Is the age wrong, or who is he? Solomon Leonard genealogy does not give him nor does the John Leonard of Agawam records. Per ECL note. The Elijah Leonard married Hannah Peirce
of Dighton, and this is their son, not the son of Eiijah Leonard and Polly Wales. ECL is wrong in placing this Henry with Elijah and Polly. According to Yale University records, the couple had two sons, of which Henry is not one. Henry Leonard had person sources.1
