Biography
Rosanna Leonard was born in September 1888 in Sutton, Worcester County, Massachusetts.
In the 1910 Census, Henry and Rosanna were living with her mother, Mary, in Sutton and had a baby daughter, Louise M.
"My Nana was Rosanna Leonard. The only other relative I really remember was Aunt Net, Sarah Leonard. I remember her daughter and son-in-law, they are about the only family on my dad's side that I remember. Nana (Rosanna) was married to Henry Cosky (Cosley) who was born in Canada. Their children were Leonard, who died young from mastitis, Margarite Louise (my Auntie Louise...from whom I received my middle name), Frank (my dad) and Dorothy. Auntie Louise will be 97 this December. I believe her birthday is December 24. Still alive and doing well. She had to move into a nursing home a few years ago (at age 92 or so) due to a hip injury. Before that she lived alone after Uncle John died. (About 20 years before.) I have some pictures.....My sister has my Nana and Grandpa's wedding picture. I have some pictures of my Nana when she was young and when she was older. She died in the mid 1960's. She was visiting Aunt Net at Loretta's (Aunt Net's daughter's) house, and she died in her sleep. Aunt Net outlived her. Nana was my most favorite person, she was so wonderful. She always smelled sooooo good (as a grandma should!). Aunt Net was funny! Quite the sense of humor. Your cousin, Sandy.
