Stillwater later became part of Saratoga Co.,near Ballston Spa. In the 1790 Census, Simeon Leonard was living in Stillwater with a family of 7.

His brother Henry was born in 1773 and married Margaret.

Two of his daughters married Adam and Benjamin Franklin Knickerbocker. They moved from Saratoga Co. to Monroe Co. with the Leonards in the 1825-35 time frame.

In the 1820 Census, Abiel was living in Milton, Saratoga Co., with a family of 2 over 25, Henry with a family of 2 over 25, Nathaniel with a family of 4, including 2 males under 16. Robert Roberts was there with a family of 5.
