This Ebenezer could be a descendant in the branch: Solomon1, Isaac2, Joseph3, Ebenezer4. Sam Leonard, who has researched this branch thoroughly, says that he is definitely not the Ebenezer Leonard b. 1728, son of Joseph Leonard and Hannah Jennings. That's the one most credited with being Ebenezer's father.
Did this Ebenezer go to Otsego, NY? The Garrard/Morand Family Tree on Ancestry.com has him born in Otsego Co. in 1739, historically impossible. There was an Ebenezer Leonard in Otsego, NY, in the 1790 Census. Did he die 3 Dec 1804 in Onondaga, Onondaga Co., NY? Did he have a son Solomon born 16 Dec 1767 in Onondaga (there was a Solomon Leonard in Pompey, Onondaga Co., in the 1800 Census, but no Ebenezer) and died 24 Sep 1856 in Ridgebury, Bradford Co., PA (not in 1850 Census)?
An Ebenezer Leonard was born in Bridgewater and moved to CT at age 3. Some records have this Ebenezer dying in 1831, when he would have been 104. It's probably his son Ebenezer who died in 1831.

Ebenezer Leonard and wife Miriam had son Samuel bp. 2 Feb 1774 at Arlington, Bennington Co., VT.
