Bill Barton has this Thomas as the Thomas Leonard who married Hannah White in 1767, but it seems unlikely that Capt. Henry would have had a son born in the 1740's (Henry died in 1739) or even the 1730's.

This Thomas may have been named after his mother's father, Thomas Morford, and would have been born in the 1710 - 1715 time frame. Father's will implies that he is "of age" in 1739 when father dies and that he has male children while his brother Henry does not in 1739 ("if son Henry has no male issue, then to son Thomas" in will).

Judge Henry Leonard and Lydia Wall were married after 1723 in Monmouth, Co., New Jersey.
