Josias Winslow was born on 11 February 1606 in Droitwich, Kemsey, Worcestershire, England. He and Margaret Bourne were married in 1636 in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He died on 1 December 1674 at age 68 in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.

This Josias is sometimes confused with his brother's son Josias (Josiah), who became Governor of Plymouth Bay Colony and died in 1680. He came over on the White Angel about 1631. Josias Winslow had person sources.¹ He was born on 11 February 1606.
