Zebedee Leonard, Jr., was born on 7 April 1821 in Middleborough, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 He and Mary Ann ("Polly") Caswell were married on 3 March 1853 in Middleborough, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Marriage announcement in Middleborough Gazette of 03/11/1853:3.2 He died in 1900 at age ~79 in Middleborough, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He appears in the 1900 Middleborough city directory as a lumber manufacturer at 74 Centre St. He was buried at Nemasket Hill Cemetery, between Walnut and Crescent Avenues, in Middleborough, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
His mother died at his birth. He was still living with his parents in Taunton in the 1850 Census. He was listed as a manufacturer. In the 1880 Census, he, 59, is listed with Polly A. Leonard, 53. There are no children listed.

Middleborough Gazette of 05/04/1855:2 lists him as having a bonnet shop occupying the upper part of Old Academy.

I can find no evidence that they had any of these children nor that the children ever existed. Zebedee Leonard, Jr., had person sources.3

Richard Anthony Leonard was born on 5 October 1830 in Raynham, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He and Lurana C. Crane were married on 25 May 1858 in Raynham, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 He died in 1905 at age ~75.
Richard Anthony Leonard was also known as Richard A. Leonard. He was a mechanic at the time of his marriage. He was educated in the public schools and began to learn the trade of leather cutter. He was later postmaster of Raynham, at which time he received an offer from the Buckeye Mowing Machine Co. of Fitchburg, to which place he removed. In 1877 he went into business for himself. Curtis N. Leonard was born on 26 June 1833 in Norton, MA or Fall River, Massachusetts. He and Lydia Burbank Bryant were married on 1 July 1854. He died on 2 June 1877 at age 43.
In the 1850 and 1860 Censuses, he was living with his parents in Norton and employed as a carpenter. He was a carpenter and was killed in a railroad accident.

There is much confusion about the children of this marriage. "A son" was born 13 Dec 1867 of Curtis N. and Lydia. A Curtis N. married 8 Nov 1888 Edith C. Wadsworth. A Freeman Joseph was born 12 Nov 1875, m. 20 Sep 1909 Katherine Byron. There is another Curtis b. 16 May 1877 and a Lillian Reed b. 25 Mar 1880. There was a Curtis F., son of Curtis N. and Lydia B. "There was a guardianship petition by Howard N. Leonard for Freeman, Curtis, and Lillian Reed Leonard, Lydia E.C. Leonard and William Reed, Sureties. Can Lillian R. be adoped? Otis Russell Leonard was born on 6 June 1831 in Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He and Mary Ann Eleanor Bryant were married on 21 October 1849 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 He died on 24 September 1908 at age 77 in Quincy, Massachusetts.
He was a cordwainer or shoemaker. He and his wife were living with his parents at the time of the 1850 Census. At the time of the 1880 Census, the whole family, plus Peleg and his children, were living together in District 82, Easton. He was later married to Sarah E. Eaton and S. Louise Painter.
