Henry C. Dwight was born about 1830 in Connecticut. He and
Olive Emeline Leonard were married about 1855. When her father died in 1874, they were living in Jamestown, Mercer Co., PA.
In the 1860 Census, he was a sewing machine agent living with his family in Austenburgh, Ashtabula County, OH. Olive was a milliner. In the 1880 Census, he was a merchant tailor. It appears they had four children: Charles, Josephine, Sarah, and Henry.

Elizabeth J. Raymond were married about 1857.
In the 1860 Census, George was a sewing machine agent living with his family next to his sister, Olive, and brother-in-law in Austenburgh, Ashtabula Co., OH. In the 1870 Census, he was an iron trader living with his family in Jefferson, Ashtabula County, OH. Two apprentice iron moulders were living with them. In the 1880, and 1900 Censuses, he was an iron trader or moulder living in Ashtabula County. In the 1900 Census, he, wife Elizabeth, and daughter Elizabeth were living with his son-in-law, Charles Leaphart, and daughter, Phila. They had had 7 children, all still alive.
When his father died in 1874, George was living in Jefferson, Ashtabula Co., OH.

Was his father Allen Leonard, b. abt. 1790, d. abt. 1822, married Sophia Allen 1794-1878?
He was a shipbuilder for J.M. Keating of Vermillion, OH. He built the schooner, Africa, in 1855, later wrecked in Lake Superior in 1870.
I'm a great-great-great grandson of Orange A. Leonard (b. 1811, N.Y.; d. 1877, Vermillion, Ohio). Here's the breakdown: Orange A.
