Biography

Isaac Allerton was born in 1586 in Saint Andrews, London, England. He and Fear Brewster were married Btw 1623 and 1627 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He and Mary Norris were married on 4 November 1611 in Leidd. He and Mary Norris were married on 4 November 1611 in Leiden, Holland. He and Joanna Swinnerton were married before 1644 in New Haven, Connecticut. He died in February 1658/59 at age ~73 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.

The Allerton Family Genealogy apparently includes a number of errors.

He was a Leiden Separatist. Allerton was second in authority only to Bradford in the early years of Plymouth Colony. Bradford felt that Allerton had abused the trust the conolontists had placed in him, and Allerton left the colony in the 1630's for other parts. He engaged in commercial pursuits at Marblehead and in Maine and later resided at New Amsterdam. See "The Great Migration Begins," pp. 35-39. Isaac Allerton had person sources.¹ He was born about 1586 in England. He was born about 1586. He died in February 1659 at age ~73 in New Haven, Connecticut. He died on 19 October 1659 at age ~73 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.
