Joseph Ives and she were married on 23 March 1842 in Lafayette, Van Buren County, Michigan. She died on 19 August 1860 at age 65 in Arlington, Van Buren County, Michigan.
She moved to Arlington, MI, where she remarried to Joseph Ives on 23 March 1842. Benoni, Jr., and Joseph B. Barnes were witnesses at their wedding.
Were they Mormons? There is a hint of that in where Olive died. That's the only scenario where she could have children by both men during the same timeframe.

He went to California to mine for gold. He joined the Army for three years on November 7, 1864 and was discharged 26 Apr 1866 at the Presidio of San Francisco. He was a successful sheep farmer in CA. He returned to Farmington, Tioga Co, PA, lived with his sister, and built a stone house that remained in the family until 2006.
