Biography
Robert Day was born on 31 July 1604 in Kilbourn, Yorkshire, England. He and
Mary were married. He and
Editha Stebbins were married about 1637 in Cambridge, Dorchester County, Maryland. He died on 16 October 1643 at age 39 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.
He was the original emigrant, to Hartford, CT. There were two Robert Days, early immigrants, one of whom settled in Ipswitch and the other came to Hartford, CT, as an early settler. He arrrived in MA abt. 1634 on the Elizabeth. (Anderson, The Great Migration Directory, p. 91.)
