His wife Abigail was his second cousin, common great grandparents Thomas "The Settler" Dewey and his wife Frances Clark. David Dewey had person sources.¹

Seabury Manchester was born on 6 June 1784 in Bristol, Rhode Island.¹ He and Almy Luther were married on 26 October 1806 in Saint Michael's Church, Bristol, Rhode Island.² He and Rhoda Diman were married on 18 April 1825 in Bristol, Rhode Island. He died on 1 December 1865 at age 81 in Bristol Neck, Bristol, Rhode Island.³ He was buried at Old North Burial Ground, #932, in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Seabury Manchester is listed as son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth Manchester in Bk. 65, p. 736, Ct 2, RIVR. In "Sketches of Old Bristol," he is mentioned as a cooper in 1820. He was a cooper living on Bristol Neck when he died. Cause of death is listed as old age and general debility. Graves for Seabury and Almy, as well as son Seabury, are located in the same row as the Leonard (Mary Eddy Leonard Healey) monument, but near the south border of the cemetery, near the entrance on the south side.
