H. Prescott Chambers was born on 7 April 1840 in Lowville, Lewis County, New York.

He was a dentist. He served in the Black Horse Cavalry in the Civil War, entered as a private and was mustered out a first lieutenant.

George Washington Leonard was born on 21 February 1840 in Allegan City, Allegan County, Michigan. He and Jane Ann Ratcliffe were married on 9 June 1874 in Mount Hope, Allamakee, Iowa. He died on 26 November 1885 at age 45 in Springville, Utah. His wife, 3 sons, and 1 daughter survived him.

He moved back to Auburn, NY, per 1860 Census. He enlisted in 1861 in the old 19th NYU, afterwards 3rd artillery, was stationed at New Bern, NC, was a lieutenant and later served on the staff of Major J. H. Ledlie. Previous to the war he had learned the trade of machinist and at the close of the war engaged in making of wagons and carriages. He lived with the family of his uncle, George Washington Leonard of Auburn, New York, from the age of 14 until the close of his studies in Auburn Theological Seminary in 1873. He was a Presbyterian, Home Missionary at Clear Creek, Iowa. He's listed in the 1880 Census in Springville, UT. Afterwards had collected money and signed the contract for the erection of an academy when he died after 3 days illness of walking typhoid fever. (I think they mean Auburn, NY, not Auburn, Nebraska, since his uncle lived in Auburn, NY.)

Jane Ann Ratcliffe was born about 1851 in Wheeling, Ohio, West Virginia. George Washington Leonard and she were married on 9 June 1874 in Mount Hope, Allamakee, Iowa. She died on 31 December 1894 at age ~43 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Arba Leonard was born on 24 May 1806 in Granville, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He and Elizabeth Crandall Bassett were married in 1841. He died in 1886 at age ~80 in Oswego, Oswego County, New York.

In 1850 the family was living in Granby, Oswego Co., NY. Delia Jones, 17, was living with them. In the 1870 Census, they were living in Oswego, Oswego Co., NY. Arba was a librarian. In the 1880's, the family was living at 144 West Sixth in Oswego.

Elizabeth Crandall Bassett was born in 1819 in New York. Arba Leonard and she were married in 1841. She died in 1909 at age ~90.

Hannah Day Leonard was born on 11 August 1803 in Granville, Hampden County, Massachusetts. Bull and she were married.
