Or the Samuel Leonard living on Powell St. in Aston and dying 1 Mar 1866, age 73?
Samuel was a gun and pistol maker who started the family business in gunmaking. He lived in Aston and died in 1866.
Samuel bapt. 6 Sep 1791, parents Samuel and Sarah, per church records.
In the 1851 Census, Samuel was 59, living with wife Mary and son Samuel, 22, at 94 New John Street in St. George, Birmingham. Samuel Jr. was born and baptized in London and was also a gun implement maker. Samuel Leonard was christened on 6 September 1791 at Saint Philip's in Birmingham, Warwick, England.
