Were the first two of Thomas and Deliverance's children born before they were married, or do I have the wedding date wrong.

Check further. Abigail Leonard would have been 33 years younger than he. No birthdates for children. According to Washburn Genealogy, he married Abigail, but...

Some have Abigail Leonard marrying Samuel Washburn, Jr. 1678-1752

A Thomas Washburn married (2) Abigail Atkins Heyford 24 July 1711. She was formerly the wife of John Heiford who d. 15 April 1710. Abigail and Thomas had no children. The father of this Thomas was John Washburn.

Did this Elizabeth Mitchell marry John Benson and have a daughter, Susannah, who married a Cushman?

There may have been more than one Thomas Washburn, leading to this confusion.

Thomas Washburn is #44 in the Francis Cooke silver book. Thomas Washburn was born in 1647.

Family tradition has it that the Blackmores (Blackmars) were Saxons who came to England from the coast of Norway about 900 and stopped in the south of England for about one year. They were gone about one year, and then returned to England and settled. They were men of great stature and strength, much given to war. With their two-handed swords, they could cut a man from head to foot through his armour and with their battle axes could beat down the gates of castles. They brought into England famous hunting dogs. In later generations they became Puritans and dissenters.
