He was buried at In back of school in South Raynham, Massachusetts.
ECL lists as general sources VR's and Probate, Bristol Co. Files at OCHS have his will, wherein he gives his son, Edwin, lying between the school house and the great river in Taunton, $100 to his wife, $100 to his daughter, Fanny Gushee, also daughter May Jen, also son Horatio, and to son William the residual of the estate. Enos Leonard was born on 29 May 1784 in Raynham, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 He and Matilda Keep were married on 7 January 1817. He died on 10 August 1866 at age 82 in West Dummerston, Windham County, Vermont.2
In the 1860 Census, the family was living in West Dummerston, VT, where Enos and his son John were farmers. Enos had real estate valued at $3000, quite a sum in those days.

ECL: "born ---? He died ---- ? He may have been the Enos in the records of the Rev. Isaac Backus: 'Died at Plainfield Enos Aug. 4, 1778, in which case he was an infant.'" GML repeats the same note on his charts, #36. This must have been a different Enos. Enos Leonard had person sources.3

Daniel Leonard was born on 4 September 1798 in Dover, Vermont. He and Sally ("Sady") Mann were married in 1817. He died on 11 February 1862 at age 63 in Dover, Vermont.
He was a prominent citizen and served the town in various offices, including that of selectman. He was a Free-Will Baptist preacher, also a physician and surgeon. He also carried on a farm. His picture is posted on ancestry.com.

Dover was originally known as Dummerstown.
