Sir Thomas Bromflete,, Knight of Londessborough and Weighton, Yorkshire, was born in 1340. He died in 1430 at age ~90.
He held a number of positions under King Edward II, including cupbearer and chief butler to the King, Coroner of the City of London, Sheriff of Yorkshire, controller and treasurer of the household under King Henry IV, keeper of the King's wardrobe, and constable of York Castle. His wife may have been a Plantagenet descendant.
