According to the Hudson newspaper, John Kells, 35, died in Granger April 13, 1805. (4863) He died Easter Monday, 1805, according to the Churchtown Lutheran churchbook. He was christened on 9 July 1769 at Reformed Church in Claverack, Columbia County, New York.

It would appear that Frederich and two of the children perished during the journey to New York or shortly after arrival. It also is worth checking as to whether the Gabriel Hoffman family had a daughter, Rebecca, who married Ludwich.

She was baptized 17 Trinity 1693 at Hachenburg-Altstadt. She may also have been known as Anna Catherine. Anna Christina Betzer was christened in 1693 in Allstadt, Hachenburg, Germany.
