In the 1920 Census, the family was living in Berlin, Rogers Mills Co., OK. James was a farmer. Brother-in-law Walter S. Taylor was living with them, as was sister-in-law Annie Bell Taylor. William R. Taylor, another brother?, was living next door.

At the time of the 1900 Census, they were living in Rock Creek township, Coffey Co., Kansas. They had been married 21 years. Eleazer's parents were born in Pennsylvania and Ohio; Susan's were born in Pennsylvania.
By the 1910 Census, they had moved to Corvallis, Ward 2, Benton Co., Oregon, where Eleazer was a carpenter. They were there in 1920, and their grandson, Ray, was living with them.
