In the 1900 Census, Leroy was living with his brother Lewis and Lewis' wife in Colfax, Wexford Co., MI. He is also listed as living with his mother and father. In the 1920 Census, the family was living in Detroit. Leroy was the superintendent of a wholesale paper plant. They were living at 69 Greenwood Street in Ward 4.
