Harvey and family moved from Parma to Highland, Oakland Co., MI, in 1835.
He died in a sawmill accident in Saugatuck, Allegan Co., MI. He and his family received BLM land grants. There's a Harvey Lake named after him, as well as a Leonard Road.

At the time of his father's death in 1868, he was living in Tyrone, MI. Or the William Leonard, 45, a farmer, living in Highland, Oakland, MI, with wife Rose, 35, daughters Rose, 15, Helen, 13, Minerva, 11, and son Frank, 9, in the 1860 Census. At least one son of Jonathan also lived in Highland (Hiland), MI. William Hincher Leonard had person sources.

In the 1850 Census, Jenny Atwood, 64, (mother-in-law?) and Jonathan Atwood, 13, were living with Jason, Rachel, and Theodore. Jason is in the 1860 Census with wife Elizabeth and children.
At the time of his father's death, he was living in Hiland, MI.

Britannia Cropsey were married about 1841 in New York. He died on 4 July 1882 at age 63 in Parma, Monroe County, New York. He was buried in Parma Center Cemetery, Parma, New York.
In the 1850 Census, Jonathan, his wife, and their three children were living with Jonathan's parents, Jonathan and Persis Leonard, in Parma. In the 1860 Census, they were still living in Parma, one child added, Lyndia W., 9.
Elaine Leonard: He eventually settled in Highland, Oakland Co., MI. He bought the first car in Highland. He went to fill it up with gasoline one night. There were no lights to see how full the gas tank was. He lit a match, and it blew up. Luckily, he was thrown across the street. The car was ruined and the gas station was destroyed. Jonathan Leonard had person sources.
