There's a mix-up here. Check out more carefully. Some of the children may be of a different William Hoar. Or perhaps Susan Macomber. Another source has William Hoar b. 1703, m. Sarah Macomber in 1723 in Taunton. There are two Sarah Macombers, one b. 1690 in Yarmouth and one b. 1703 in Marlborough, both of whom supposedly married William Hoar. Jonathan Hoar b. 1694 in Taunton supposedly married Sarah Macomber, b. 1690, Yarmouth. Isaac Hoar b. 1700 Taunton m. Abigail Staples or Sarah Macomber and had Philip and Jacob. William Hoar b. 1687 m. Sarah Macomber in 1715. According to Dorothy Chapman Saunders, William and Sarah LNU had only one child, William.
Also, were William's parents Nathaniel Hoar and Sarah Wilbore or William Hoar and Hannah Wright? Ancestry.com has Nathaniel and Sarah. Nathaniel and Sarah Wilbore came from Taunton. Nathaniel was the son of Hezekiah Hoar. Dorothy Chapman Saunders, a careful genealogist, has William the son of William and Hannah. William Hoar had person sources.

Hannah Wright were married in 1669 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He died on 27 November 1698 at age ~49 in Bristol, Rhode Island.
He was a baker in Boston and Bristol. He was in Salem, MA, in 1659. They moved to Bristol after the birth of Hannah. He was admitted as a citizen of Bristol at the first town meeting September 1, 1681. He and his wife were members of the Congregational Church of Bristol on July 6, 1696. Will dtd. July 23,1697, probated December 27, 1698. Mentions wife Hannah, "The wife of my youth and the naturall mother of all the children that ever I had."

There was also a William Hoar b. 19 April 1687. Which one married Sarah Macomber? Saunders does not identify Sarah's last name. Which one was the son of Nathaniel Hoar? There also was a William Hoar who married a Dorcas Galley ca. 1669 (Torrey). Another William Hoar married Hannah, children listed in Bristol's VR's. Roz Edson (Jan. 2007) has William b. abt. 1644, d. bef. 26 Dec 1708, Hannah b. abt. 1647, d. 28 Sep 1718, buried Old East Burial Ground, Bristol. William Hoar had person sources.

He was a tailor from London. He came in 1630, but was sent back to England on the "Lyon" in April 1631 for "dippling the King's coin." (Suffolk Court Trials, XLV, 12) He had been pardoned in 1629, but word didn't catch up with him. A Robert Wright of Boston was a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Co. in 1643 and had a wife Mary.
