Capt. Ichabod Leonard was born in 1729 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He and
Sybil or Sarah Burt were married on 11 December 1763 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
1 He died on 7 February 1810 at age ~81 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
2 Was this Ichabod Leonard the same as the one born in 1729 who m. Sybil Burt? He was a captain in the militia in the Revolutionary War. His (6th Taunton?) company was part of Col. John Hathaway's regiment. In April 1777 the company marched from Taunton to Tiverton, RI. In August 1780, his company was part of Col. Abial Mitchel's regiment, Brigadier General Godfrey's Bristol Co. brigade, 8 days on the alarm of 1 August 1780.
His will names his children, except for Perez. Perez died young. Capt. Ichabod Leonard had person sources.
