Biography

Frederic Lewis Leonard was born on 12 May 1821 in West Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He and Lorinda Smith Cooley were married about 1847 in West Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He died died in a railroad accident in March 1870 at age 48 in Massachusetts. He was buried in Meeting House Hill Cemetery, West Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He, his wife, and 2 of his children are buried there.
He was a shoemaker. He was still alive for the 1880 Census, so he was the one killed in the train accident. He died before the 1900 Census, however. Frederic Lewis Leonard had person sources.1

Biography

Edwin Leonard was born on 26 November 1822 in West Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He and Rachel Angle Hughes were married on 11 April 1851 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey.
He was a sergeant in Co. I, 27 Mass. Volunteers during the Civil War. He was a Medal of Honor recipient. In the 1850 Census, he was living with his brother Lewis and was a bridge builder. He later became a farmer and lived in Agawam with his family. Edwin Leonard had person sources.1

He and Anna Flower were married on 28 January 1806 in Feeding Hills, Agawam, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He died on 14 April 1840 at age 65 in Feeding Hills, Agawam, Hampden County, Massachusetts.2
