Note: There were several Ebenezer Leonards in Preston at this time, and ECL admits to not being able to untangle which was which. At least one was of the James Leonard line (son of Nicholas), while the others were of the Solomon Leonard line. Please check them very carefully if this is your ancestral line.
He served in the Revolutionary War, according to the DAR. But the DAR has his birthdate as 6 Feb 1753 in MA. Is there a mix-up of some sort here? Right Ebenezer? Ebenezer Leonard had person sources.

Info on the Internet says Polly who married Roswell was b. 6 June 1783, Enfield, CT, dau. of John Leonard and Sarah Pierce. Doesn't fit! John Leonard had person sources.
