Emma Jane Smith were married about 1855 in New York. He died before 1902.
He was a dairy farmer in Waterville, according to the 1869 Business Directory for Oneida. In the 1900 Census, he and his wife were living in Sangerfield twp., Oneida County. Romanzo was still farming. One of their two children had died. He may have married (2) Susan LNU, but it would have been after 1900.

In the 1920 and 1930 Censuses, they were living in Ward 27, St. Louis, MO. He was a city registrar in 1920 and a traffic supervisor with the electric railway in 1930.
His WWI draft card has him a city register living at 4 Hortense St., St. Louis. He had brown eyes and black hair. He apparently arrived on La Gascogne in New York City from Le Havre, France, on 12 April 1890.
