Major Micah Chapman was born on 18 July 1735 in Dennis, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. He died on 24 October 1792 at age 57. He was buried at Dennis Village Cemetery in Dennis, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.
He was a major in the Revolutionary War. He married Elizabeth Rowes b. abt. 1738, d. 20 Aug 1820, and they had 5 children: Elizabeth Chapman b. 1761, Samuel Chapman b. 23 May 1764, Howes Chapman b. 16 Jun 1768, Isaac Chapman b. 27 April 1770, and Moll Chapman, b. 1 Jan 1775, all presumably in Dennis, MA.

Biography

Charles Leonard was born on 1 June 1787 in Fairhaven, Vermont. He and Betsey Colburn were married about 1810. He died on 22 September 1854 at age 67 in Portage, New York.
GSM's notes indicate he was a soldier in the War of 1812 and that he was a member of the First Church of Christ at its organization in Perry, NY, June 28, 1814.

In the 1820 Census for Perry, Genesee Co., NY, Charles Leonard is listed with a family of nine, 5 males and 4 females. So there are some children missing from the enumeration here.

When Betsey died, he married her sister (name unknown). Charles Leonard had person sources.1
