William McKinstry was born on 13 November 1762 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He died in August 1823 at age 60.
He graduated from Oxford, became Rector of East Grinstead and Lingfield, near London, was tutor to children of several noblemen, and died on a visit to America in August 1823. He died unmarried.

Caleb Stark

Caleb Stark was born on 12 March 1759 in Dunbarton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. He and Sarah McKinstry were married about 1786. He died on 14 September 1838 at age 79 in Oxford, Butler County, Ohio.
He joined the American Revolution at age 15 just before the Battle of Bunker Hill. He was wounded at Saratoga and during the closing stages of the conflict served as an adjutant to his famous father, General John Stark.

Caleb and Sarah had 11 children: John, Harriet, Sarah, Elizabeth, Charles, Sarah, Henry, Charlotte, Marry Ann, Caleb, Jr., and David McKinstry Stark.
