Charles Russell Leonard, Jr., was born on 25 November 1830 in Union Springs, Cayuga, New York. He and
Mary ("Polly") Brown were married before 1854 in Cayuga County, New York. He died on 23 October 1908 at age 77. He was buried in 1908 in Groton, Tompkins, New York.
There was also a Russel Alonzo Leonard born abt. 1831 in Auburn, NY, m. 3 Aug 1869 in Sault St. Marie, Margarette MacArthur. They resided in Canada. Charles Russell Leonard, Jr., lived in Groton, Tompkins, New York, in 1865. He lived in New York in 1870. He lived in Locke, Cayuga, New York, in 1880. He died on 23 November 1908 at age 77 in Groton, Tompkins County, New York.
