There was another Charles F. Leonard b. abt. 1844 in NY married to an Eveline Mumbrehe, unless records are mixed up. That Charles F. was the son of Albert Leonard, tracing back to James. The Charles F., b. abt. 1850 in Nichols, Tioga Co., NY, son of Chauncey, is listed as single and living at home with his parents in the 1875 and 1880 censuses. That disagrees with his being in MI with relatives (Voorhees). He is a descendant of John of Springfield.
