Biography

Barnaby Luther was born on 30 November 1744 in Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He and Rebecca Easterbrook were married on 1 January 1767 in Warren, Rhode Island. He and Phebe Goodspeed were married on 12 January 1777 in Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island.¹ He and Elizabeth Kinnecut were married on 19 July 1798 in Warren, Bristol County, Rhode Island. He and Elizabeth Lydia Kinnecut Monro were married in August 1798. He died on 18 January 1822 at age 77 in Warren, Rhode Island.

Barnaby Luther (#120 in Luther Genealogy) resided in Warren, RI, and was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He was a member of Capt. Ormsbee's Co. of Militia in 1776 and with Capt. Curtis Cole's Co. in 1781. He may have been a member of several other companies.
