He was licensed to practice medicine and surgery in Montreal, Quebec, Canada 12 May 1802. Settled by Leonard Creek, Springfield, Bradford County, PA, in 1803. Appointed surgeon to the first Battalion of PA Militia under Col. John Johnson in 1810.
