Alfred Oldale was born on 8 February 1874 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. He and
Georgia L. Wagner were married on 4 July 1900 in Providence, Rhode Island.
1 At the time of the 1900 Census, he was living with his parents and was a silversmith at Gorham Manufacturing Co., Providence. He was married by the time of the 1910 Census, but the address is illegible. He was still a silversmith at Gorham in 1910 and 1920. He isn't in the 1930 Census. Georgia is listed as the head of family and living in Cranston with Mildred, 19, a clerk. At the time of his WWI draft registration, he was living at 120 Lakewood Street in Warwick. He was of medium build and height and had grey eyes and black hair.

1 He was listed a jeweler living as a foster son with Jeremiah and Laura Connor in Providence in the 1920 Census (if it's the same one). On his World War I draft registration, he listed his address as 162 Clifford St., Providence, and his nearest relative as Laura Connors at 49 Prairie Avenue, Providence.

Arthur Oldale was born on 23 February 1875 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.
1 He and
Ada Carr were married on 16 March 1894 in Providence, Rhode Island. He and
Margaret Sullivan were married in 1953 in Sarasota County, Florida.
2 He died on 20 April 1960 at age 85 in Sarasota County, Florida. He was buried at Manesota Cemetery in Aneco, Florida.
He is not listed in the 1900 Census.
In the 1910 Census, he is living with his family at 121 Rutherglen Avenue, Providence, and is a holloware stamper at Gorham Manufacturing Co., a position he held for 49 years. In the 1918 draft and 1920 and 1930 Censuses, he and his family were living at 147 Rutherglen Avenue, Providence.
He was a natural born musician. He had a small hand organ that he carried from pub to pub and could play anything he heard played. According to his draft registration, he was short, medium build, and had brown eyes, and black hair.
Elsie (Nicholas) Oldale was the source of some information about Arthur and his descendants.
