In the 1850 Census, Thomas and Ruth Dibble were living in Harrisburg, Van Buren Co., IA. Thomas was a farmer with a farm worth $2500. Son Roswell, 37, was living with them, as was Stillman Dibble (brother?). They were living next door to Thomas L. Dibble, Jr. and his family. Dates all check out.

In 1860 they were living in Harrisburg, Van Buren Co., IA, where Thomas was a farmer.
