Asa moved to Ohio in 1825. The 1830 Census shows an elderly man and elderly woman living with his family, possibly his parents. He married Roxana Scott, b. 1805, d. 20 Aug 1835 in Ripley, Huron Co., OH. After she died, he married Abigail West. Asa Carpenter had person sources.
