She was living with her daughter, Estella, and her daughter's husband in Watkins, Schuyler Co., at the time of the 1870 Census. Esther Crawford lived in Dix, Chemung, New York, in 1850. She lived at E. D. 2 in Dix, Schuyler, New York, in 1855.

Rufus Leonard was born on 9 July 1809 in Stafford, Connecticut.¹ He and Abigail Green were married in 1832. He and Harriet Bennett were married about 1849. He and Julia York were married on 17 January 1859 in Smyrna, Chenango County, New York. He died on 10 April 1867 at age 57 in Smyrna, Chenango County, New York.

He was a blacksmith living with his family in Smyrna in the 1850 Census. According to ECL, he had a fork shop in Smyrna. Doublecheck that this is the right Rufus. Source of info for GML was Ralph Younger Leonard. Rufus Leonard had person sources.²
