Lotta Johansdotter was born on 6 December 1812 in Bäckegården, Hössna, Älvsborg län (Väster Götaland), Sweden.¹

She moved to Stora Gärdet in 1829 and remained there as a servant (piga).

John McKenzie was born on 15 January 1853 in Glasgow, Scotland. He and Jane ("Jeannette?") Dow were married on 12 May 1877 in Rhode Island.¹

He arrived at age 17 on the City of Paris, arriving on March 2, 1871.

He was living with his son, Robert, and family on Branch Avenue in the 1930 Census. He came to the United States in October 1, 1871 and was naturalized April 4, 1887.

In the 1880 Census, John McKenzie and his wife, Jane, were living with Jane's parents in the Pontiac section of Warwick. Jane had a number of brothers and sisters. John, Jane, and Robert were living in Pontiac in the 1900 Census also.

Jane ("Jeannette?") Dow was born on 7 June 1859 in Kilmadock, Perth, Scotland. John McKenzie and she were married on 12 May 1877 in Rhode Island.¹

Per Axel Kilstrom was born about 1868 in Sweden.

In the 1930 Census, the family, including Per Axel, his son Walter, and his father, Per, were living on Pontiac Avenue. Living next door were Harold R. Kilstrom, 31, and his wife Ethel, 31 (another son?). Axel came over from Sweden in 1882. Axel was a pattern maker for a jewelry firm by occupation. He was a U.S. citizen.

Ida Charlotte Jonsson was born about 1871 in Sweden. She died in 1944 at age ~73.

The 1930 Census says she came over from Sweden in 1888 and was a U.S. citizen.

Gertrude Alice Anthony was born on 3 September 1909 in Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Wallace Elliott McKenzie and she were married on 9 January 1937 at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. She died on 9 March 2002 at age 92 in Fairfax City, Fairfax, Virginia. She was buried in Saint David's Episcopal Church cemetery, South Yarmouth, Massachusetts.
