Biography

Katherine Dean was born in August 1680 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 Rev., Capt. Samuel Leonard, and she were married on 17 April 1701 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.2 She died on 22 December 1761 at age 81 in Raynham, Bristol County, Massachusetts.3 She was buried at Town Center Cemetery in Raynham, Massachusetts.4
Katherine's will, dated May 26, 1752, probated March 17, 1762. Sons: Abiel, Elijah, and George. "My four beloved daughters and granddaughter namely Hassadiah Wales, Phebe King, Sophia Dean, Abiah King, and Bethiah Howard." Daughter-in-law Abigail Leonard. Grandson Nathaniel Leonard. Incl. lands in Raynham, Taunton, Easton, and Norton, as well as the "iron oar." Sons Elijah and George to be executors.

Katherine sometimes spelled with a K and sometimes with a C. Katherine Dean had person sources.5
