Biography

Col. Elnathan Walker was born in 1706 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He and Bethiah Tisdale were married on 3 November 1732 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He and Phebe Leonard were married on 6 November 1760 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He died on 6 June 1775 at age ~69 in Dighton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
Col. Elnathan Walker died in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He was probably the Col. Elnathan Walker who died June 6, 1775, in Taunton and was buried next to his former wife, Bethiah, who died in 1759. He was a colonel in the militia, deacon of the First Congregational Church of Dighton, a selectman, and representative to the General Court. He was also married to Hannah Crossman.
